Why Golf in Dubai?

Going to Dubai represents a different way of life.

 Fabio Cannavaro

Nestled on the Persian Gulf coast is the opulent city of Dubai. Home to the impressive Burj Khalifa that dominates the skyline with its awe-inspiring architecture, the city is  surrounded by a subtle fusion of high luxury, big business, and a surprisingly warm, welcoming culture. Undulating dunes, frothy shorelines, crystal-clear waters, and grand cityscapes underscore Dubai’s rich history and heritage.

Dubai is known for its unmatched golf courses and amenities in the Middle East, making it a frequent haunt of famous golfers from around the world. The first known tournament to be held in the Middle East was the Dubai Desert Classic in 1989. It is now a mainstay of the PGA European tour.

In the years that followed, Dubai has advanced and improved its facilities and courses to attract golfers from far and near. Known as one of Dubai’s most challenging courses, the Al Badia golf course was designed by mastermind, Robert Trent Jones II.
