The Sandhils of North Carolina boast The Home of American Golf” – Pinehurst. Rich in golf history and tradition, Pinehurst is a bucket list golf destination for any golf enthusiast. Donald Ross lived there for nearly 50 years as he worked on several courses, including the most notable PInehurst #2. In 2014 the USGA hosted the US Open and US Women’s Open in back to back weeks, both played on Number 2. The back to back Opens will be repeated again in 2024.

Pine Needles and Mid Pines are two more popular Ross designs. Pine Needles is the site for the 2022 US Women’s Open.
